One thing I know for sure is how selective Gabriel is with wood choice. This is a very easy-playing guitar, has the slinkiness. Extremely fast playing neck.

This guitar offers a wider frequency response than you are probably used to, stunning flames, and exceptional playability.  The tone controls are nothing like Fenders, and are extremely versatile and usable, wide range. It's lightweight, balanced and is 100% hand carved. The neck is carved to perfection. This is not your rink-a-dink small modern C neck, this is the real deal 1962 Strat profile, which is more like a 1958 Gibson neck than a traditional Fender neck. An exact copy of a 62 Strat, and dead on.

This is a guitar that cuts. Tone controls extremely useful. Even with a fuzz pedal the treble notes cut through. This is a monster and rings like a bell, a powerful guitar with super articulate pickups. As always, different amps yield varied results. I am amazed at what happens when I open this thing up with some drive, a little fuzz, with the 1962 Bandmaster up all the way. It instantly reminds me of Live at Leeds or Band of Gypsies. These Echopark guitars never leave me wanting. Shows only light player wear, and appears in near mint condition. The standout features of this guitar is the overall sonics, combined with this awesome neck. This six two is currently set up with 10's in E and is just so expressive.

MannMade nickel trem (brass block) with modern string 2 1/16" spacing. Brass adds a little weight to the guitar, but concurrently huge sustain and more powerful notes. The guitar originally had the vintage style Tisonix titanium bridge with vintage string spacing, which I found clunky and uncomfortable, like most vintage Strats. E strings too close to the edges. The MannMade offers a great deal more solidity, which you can feel, and much stronger notes. It's got set string spacing, rolled edges on the saddles, and performs as smooth as silk. A huge upgrade over the vintage style trem, stays in tune better when hitting hard, and feels better under the fingers. MannMade offers the absolute best in modern functionality, tone and playability, while maintaining a cool look. When Gabe told me he puts the same MannMade bridge on Joe Perry's guitars, I was not surprised, as it's w/out a doubt my favorite. It's all about the brass, and all the extra midrange. A night and day difference.

This guitar has just received a full service and fret dressing from highly experienced Orange County, CA luthier AJ Peat.
