This is another 1 of 1 amp built years ago. Made with Ken Fischer's actual trainwreck transformers. I don't know anything about Two Rock, but some of you clearly have encyclopedic knowledge of Bill, his unique building techniques, and Two Rock as a whole. I've heard people mentioning a story where there was a period of prior Two Rock ownership, before Eli, and something about a shipment of Ken Fisher's (Trainwreck) transformers going to Two Rock because of a repair invoice. It's an interesting story. This is one of those Pacific Trainwreck transformers, so maybe as close as you'll get w/out spending $30k.

Bill Krinard is the mastermind designer behind Two Rock who turned amp building into an art form. There's only 3 or so of these Bill Krinard versions of these amps, and others will likely cost you more. In his exact words "I built that amp", hence the signature on back. Every so often, he has taken in Two Rock amps over the years, he changes the parts to more NOS, less factory, and rewires to his liking. In this case he said "it's all NOS parts". then he signed the back of the chassis for me at his place in 2025.

This is a highly collectible, singular, rare 2010 era Krinard custom nos trainwreck express, made with select Krinard components. As always each one is different than the next, he's only has his hands on a few of them.

has ohm 4-8-16 ohm selector, 2 speaker outs, bypass circuit, effects loop, bright switch, exactly what you want nothing more nothing less. when the bypass is engaged only the gain knob functions and it goes full volume, all eq controls bypassed.

main volume doesn't kill tone like a master volume. the gain knob is the preamp volume. you can put the main volume down really low and crank the gain, and vice versa, or any combination there within. from clean to dirty the amp maintains it's vibe and sonic footprint 100%. it's a balls out situation happening here.

there's an enormous amount of brutal treble wickedness on tap, plus the bright switch. amp's cleans are insanely bright and glassy, in a good way, as you'd expect. this is a bright high gain amp. more rock than metal. amp cleans up as good as you could possibly imagine. cut & clarity. there's more gain on tap than you could imagine. get crazy good sound at low volumes if you wish since the volume knob does not function like your typical tone-sucking master volume. this is a high fidelity, zero-mud amplifier. every amp he builds is different.

this amp is priced low, would be much higher in a retail store, especially considering his prices have doubled since january 2025 and no more of these will ever be made. considering people pay $5-6K for assembly line mass produced friedman amps with chinese parts, this is a genuine good deal for a collector's piece.

menacing overall, amp does staggering glassy hifi cleans, to brutal high gain. this is a high gain amp that has the ability to do dumble-like hifi cleans. the amp has it's own sound. it's EL34 and not a marshall sound whatsoever. bypass circuit bypasses everything and goes full boar. very different than a marshall, more left of center, less commonplace, way more clarity, way more refined EQ.

no mud on this amp whatsoever. clear, bright, punching trainwreck. exactly what you'd hope for. undeniable. cleans up incredibly well. like most amps sounds best through two 4x12 cabs, incredible. has so much bite. cutting. pro audio/video upon request. i received this amp in a big trade, it was hand selected along with many others from a sea of new, modern bespoke Krinard nos amps.

i haven't had time to try different speakers or pedals, i can only imagine! gain knob is sticky in lower registers. easy fix or leave as is. works fine.
