this is an extremely robust guitar, unlike it's frail vintage Gibson counterpart. 

guitar's tone and rarified woody vibe will easily be realized upon
picking the guitar up from the case. it's been said that 80% of the sound of any guitar is the wood alone, and i can't argue with that. when you pick up this guitar, you can feel the wood toniness before striking a single chord.  a lot of the tone of this guitar comes from the magnificent neck.  this is a standard 1959 les paul type neck. there is no V to the profile. it is slightly rounded. it is extremely comfortable and playable, it's tastefully done. incredible sound and resonance coming from the neck. the roundness of the neck fits into your hand with the comfort of an old baseball glove. this 59 shape sets the bar because it's so comfortable regardless of your hand size. this neck shape will not cause hand fatigue like tiny necks do. the comfortable, large size of the neck also contributes greatly to the woodiness of the overall tone. 

there is a lot of nuance with a true hand carved guitar like this, and it can take months and months to get to know the guitar intimately.

i have owned, bought and sold quite a few Echopark guitars. each and every one have been exquisite examples, i'm only interested in the exquisite ones. i'm not concerned so much with colors and shapes and what a guitar looks like. i'm in a studio doing recording. in house i have played dozens of echoparks, going back to 2012. i have only purchased guitars that are truly exceptional. all of them get sold. i don't have room to keep things very long. as you can tell from my sales history, i choose special guitars.

i prefer slab body guitars with a stop tailpiece, especially the mojoaxe bridge. this guitar will come with the original adjustable pigtail installed. you will find that the guitar's characteristics change drastically with different bridges. this is the beauty of the slab body and stop tailpiece, you can go several directions. you will get a different feel altogether, you will get different string spacing, a different look, and different sound.
