1978 Black Travis Bean #1451 with original case and warranty card, 100% original black.
10.10lbs Magnolia body. Guitar is super clean, and has minor wear to the body in the right spot.

I have sold a lot of these guitars over these years, if you have specific questions, please arrange a call and I can talk to you extensively about all the particulars, and why this is an especially great one.

Incredible player. Has balanced pickups. Everything you want in a Travis Bean, in the best color, with the most desirable neck. The bigger neck plays better than the smaller necks. Has super low action and zero issues.
Nut is perfect. Everything checks out. The later serial number guitars benefit from several major improvements. They simply blow away the earlier guitars, which were prone to brightness, and a disparity with pickup outputs. I think invariably the 1978-1979 neck construction feels noticeably different, as a new refined method was employed. This is indicated by a line running along the neck just below the fingerboard. VERY desirable. The result was better playing instruments, and better sounding. I just can't believe after they reorganized and finally nailed down the design of these guitars, they were forced to shut down for good.

Wide horn, standard thickness body. Has the very desirable later serial neck construction. Has the beefier, thicker, D shape neck profile. All original. Includes original case.

The pickups screw into the neck, the bridge screws into the neck. The entire system is continuous from tuner to bridge. Phenomenal sustain and tone.

This is the Steve Stevens guitar, Steve owned this guitar in the mid-2000's, to clarify, there are no photos of Steve playing the guitar, but he did own it and loved it. This is all in writing and the correspondence will be included in the sale. Steve loved the guitar bigtime but didn't want a heavy guitar for stage. I can say after all these years, and owning very many, that this is indeed one of the good ones.

Please email or call with any questions, thank you
